Two thousand and ten or Twenty ten?

2010
Numbers shouldn't be abbreviated... unless they're over 8 digits long... like Fcs and telephone numbers...

I'm getting into the habit of saying "Twenty Ten" because by the time we get to like 2025 it's going to be annoying to say "Two Thousand and Twenty Five" - I guess that's the reason they said "Nineteen Ninety Nine" instead of "One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine"

Second topic of "How to pronounce your words?" Seems like your just acting like a English teacher.

No, just interested in how people say it.

Twenty-ten. I still have trouble comprehending that a whole decade has passed in the new millenium... Seems like just yesterday it was New Year's Eve of 1999....

It's "two thousand ten", not "two thousand and ten". "And" is used for decimal points.

Anyway, I'll say "two thousand [number]" up until 2020, which is when I'll switch to "twenty [number]".
