TURNIPS: do you buy every week?

Just curious to know if you only buy turnips when the price sounds low, or always grab some? How often do you personally buy?

I only bought to get my gold turnip badge, and stopped immediately afterwards.

I've only bought them once so far. I like to time travel and unless someone can let me in their town to sell them at a profit right away, I don't bother.

I don't buy them at all. After all this time I genuinely do not understand how you supposedly make tons of money on them when at the most my actual profit was like 50% of what I paid. (Yes, I do know about the selling price spikes and patterns so)

I only buy them when the price is low to minimize losses. I try to visit someone else's town to sell if I don't have a good selling price, but it's still best to buy low just in case you can't visit someone's town in time.

I only buy them every once in awhile, and they always end up usually rotting because I can't be bothered to check the prices everyday, so I don't really buy them anymore.

I'm big on the stalk market. I was never a fan of catching bugs, bugs, bugs and more bugs on the island to earn my bells. So I do turnips every week. I don't bother going to other towns to sell, so sometimes I buy high and end up making hardly any profit or none at all. But often it's a good deal I find. Or I'm just lucky.

i've only ever bough twice, once to sell and once to let them rot so i could catch a bug.
Never really do it because I like to be able to time travel if I have to. Would only buy turnips if I knew that I would be able to sell them for a high price in another town that very same day.

I used to buy them every week, but it ended up being too anxiety-inducing to continue, lol. I also just found that it became a hassle to haul turnips all over the place every single week. It kind of took away from the rest of the game. :/

Early on I bought some but didn't make a lot of money. The mayor locker is full of items.
Later I used my guest town side player to buy on the day my other towns had a high price or someone posted a high price. Sent her to my other town set on a Sunday and bought lockers full. In two days she made 85 million.
I only buy 90 to 95. Anything higher it's too much work to buy/sell by myself.

I've never bothered with the turnips in New Leaf. I always hear that it's a fantastic way to get money, but I don't really understand it fully and prefer to just go to the island and catch beetles.

I've never bought turnips in NL, but I used to buy the red ones in the older game.

nope, i bought them until i got my gold turnip badge and i haven't talked to joan since, it's a pretty handy way of making money if you can find someone with a good turnip spike but it's quite hard to find these days
