Turnip trading - just shoot me now!

I time travel regularly in my town (because I won't skip a day), so I can't do regular turnip trading. When there's a high price in my town, I go buy turnips in my weeding town and then turn right around and sell them. It hit 360 recently and I decided to buy and sell a ton of turnips. I bought over 29000 turnips. It took me 3 hours (!!!) to buy them and then sell them. I made over 7 million bells, but I really don't want to see anymore turnips for a long time. That was just crazy!!

When I saw my first outlandish price, I went crazy like this too. With limited locker space, it was hours. It never occurred to me to create a new file in my weeding town to load the turnips into.... I just thought it would be too hard to empty any of the lockers in my main town. I have earned the gold badge now, and I hope I never need the bells badly enough to have to do it again!

I did finally use my mayor in my weeding town to store the turnips. It's a new town, so she only had a few things in there. That helped, but then I was an idiot and had her sell the turnips. So I missed out on about 4 millions bells towards the badge. I was so irritated when I figured that out. Argh!!
