Turnip Prices - When are they set?

Hey guys! I had some questions about turnip prices.

At one point do they change? For instance... I have a price of 92 Saturday morning, and I check Saturday PM and it's 88. If I were to TT back to Saturday morning... would it still be 92, or would it be different? What about if I TTed backwards to Tuesday PM, and then forwards again to Saturday (I know, causing any turnips to rot in the process), would the price still be 92? How about if I TTed to June, and then back to Saturday? Would it still be 92?

I guess I'm asking, when do the prices randomize? And what about price patterns? How is that affected by TT?

My games are date-locked right now, or else I'd check! Does anybody know the answer? (Google searches are also not being productive)

EDIT: new question: could a new character stealthily check prices without saving anything?

I think if you check them then change to a new day and then back again, they will be different.

^ above post i believe is correct but

If you stay on the same day TT to Am instead of PM you still have the same turnip prices. They dont change as long as youre on the same day

Price patterns you can use websites you type in the AM and PM prices and it gives you what pattern you have for that week.
Random,Large spike,Small Spike,Decreasing. All those patterns < also you can watch youtube videos on the turnip price charts to help understand how to tell yourself what the pattern may be.

I know about turnip patterns and all of that. I just wasn't sure how TT within the same week would change it, and I couldn't test it right now. So... If I were to travel back to a Tuesday during a small spike week... would the small spike reset itself? Would the whole pattern reset itself, and it could become decreasing or random or big spike? Or would all the days still have their same exact prices?

I just didn't know. Thought someone here might.
