Turnip Price Changed Randomly?

This morning, Re-Tail was buying turnips at 129 bells per turnip. Now, Reese will only give me 50 bells, even though I haven't changed the date or time. Do prices often change in the middle of the day?

I've heard that they update at midday each day, so that's perfectly normal!

Everyday at 12:00 PM, the Turnip Price changes. If you have a good price in the morning, better sell your turnips before noon.
