Turnip big spike while Shop is closed for upgrading

One of my friends has a big spike this week. Her shop will be closed tomorrow, and her big spike will be at the max tomorrow afternoon.

Any suggestions for her to be able to sell her stalk, preferably on her own island.

My idea was to move them to another island and then she can TT back to Tuesday after her shop finishes. Does TTing back reset the price? The turnips will not spoil if they are moved to another island while she TTs back.
Another thought could be the game might skip over Tuesday in the pattern because the shop is closed but I doubt this.
