Turning A New Leaf!

I bought ACNL again today for my birthday, and I've started off. (yay im 11 now!) My luck has been AMAZING. First of all, I only had to reset one time before I got my perfect spread. Then I see two of my favorite villagers, Tom and Francine. I also have Flurry. Amazing luck right there! Then I walk around and get settled, and guess what? My favorite fruit is my town fruit(apples)! So far, Vodka has been going really well.

I don't think I'm going to plot reset if my luck keeps up :}

When you start up a new game, there should always be one perfect fruit for you to plant.

But congrats on everything else. I know people that put hours into resetting and looking for that perfect setup so you really got lucky there. And happy birthday!

But yo, congrats with the starting villagers! I had to reset three times to get a good town layout and I got some pretty cool starters. Although the native fruit is the pear, other than that, I'm pretty happy with my second town.

Well you can reset, it's not too late. That is, if you're not going to mind getting a mixture of starter villagers that you may dislike.

Theres nothing wrong with your name.If you like it, then keep it.You are having lucky day, and theres no need to reset your great town just because it's named after an alcohol beverage.lol.

I'm not a drinker, but i personally like the name.It's original.

Hehe, I like the name too...it's memorable and funny since you're so young. At first I was like, wah?, but now I think it's pretty cute.

I hate my town name so I know how you might feel, but since you like everything else, I don't think you should reset.

Also, according to wikepedia (yes, I just looked it up right now for you), "the word vodka (w?dka) referred to chemical compounds such as medicines and cosmetics' cleansers" back in the olden days...which, IDK, you could totally make up a story about it. OR not, it's still pretty cute.

I always thought vodka was derived from the russish or polish word for water, so I think it kind of fits an Animal Crossing town. :> Also, if you read it as the beverage, maybe it implies that the mayor drank too much on the train and starts to hallucinate talking animals?

If I were you, I would still plot reset; I just started another town this week and had mixed luck with the new villagers, which almost ruined the fun of finding THE perfect town for me. Luckily, villagers can always be fixed though.
