Aww, I love your town name! It's the name I plan to use for a second copy if I ever get one, because it's a town in a TV show (that definition really fits that town!)
I was hanging out with my friend in a bubble tea place after I bought the game, and I was kinda hungry at the time so I wanted to name my town after food lol... I was gonna name it Pamplemousse because we used to play a game called that back in french class in elementary but that obvs didn't fit... after thinking of like every fruit, I thought about candy, and I always thought konpeito were cute so I decided to name my town Konpeito lol

I love Kirby Triple Deluxe! My favorites are Ninja and Ice forms! Circus is rather fun too!
I never thought I'd play ACNL as long as I did so I didn't really take the naming process too seriously. I just put the first thing that came to mind, so, Mordor.

i named my town Sindria, because i thought it sounded really cool and i loved the anime titled Magi
if i'd felt like going full roleplay with it, i would've named my mayor Sinbad and maybe named some other residents after his generals
if i ever get more copies of acnl, my next town would be named Balbadd, and after that just other towns from the Magi universe

I dunno, I was really into Fallout over the summer it was released and named my town Novac, a small town in the Mojave Wasteland. When I decided to restart my town, I named it Freeside because I had a perfect outfit saved, one that made me look like a member of The Kings, a faction in Freeside from New Vegas.

Yeah, I saw that a day or two ago.
I guess a lot of pop culture references have been done, I see a lot of Hogwarts, Mordor, District 12, etc.

My old town was called Avalon... And my mayor was Faye... So it was Avalon Faye coined from the tale Legend of King Aurthur and I just like the name Avalon Faye together.
But my town had no theme and I hated how my town kept getting compared to Merlin and how it was Merlin themed... No... It wasn't Merlin themed... It had no theme. >.>
So Wishdrop came from me using a name generator the names Wishstar, Raindrop, and KeyShire came up...
I liked KeyShire. But then I wanted to make the town more medieval if it had that name...
But there really isn't much medieval PWPs. =/
I combine the first two into Wishdrop and loved it... but was stuck on WishDrop and Wishdrop... yes. really. XP
I made a poll here that helped me see the capital D in the middle did look a little weird...
So, Wishdrop was born... It's peaceful little getaway for me that I love. ^-^

I'm not a big fan of my towns name, but its Akubi. It's the Japanese word for Yawn I believe. Figured it was suitable because I'm always sleepy and my town is booooring.

... decided to google it and depending on how it is written ((obviously it's romaji is akubi so I mean in the characters writings)) it can be yawn or bad/unlucky day. ^^'
But it sounds really cute for a town name. ^-^

I think I would change the name of many of the cow villagers... the puns of their names are just awful...
Tipper? Really?
