TUOCT -- New Topic 6/9 -- If you could rename a villager...

Mercury and Planet Vegeta

Because my favorite anime is the original Japanese version of Sailor Moon (I HATE the English Dub), and DBZ is my second favorite, plus it suits all the monkeys I am getting!

I named my town Birdsong after my friend. Her maiden name is birdsong and she is the one who introduced me to AC back in 2003 :)

Hope it's ok for me to post here even though I'm not in the other thread since I don't have a high enough rating yet.

That's such an adorable maiden name (and such a cute reason to name your town, too!)

Ha! Thx so much!!! Not sure if I should luv her or kick her for leading me down this 11 year obsessive road!!!

I named mine Bismark because I wanted to have OFF reference in my town and I was kind of wanting to do OFF themed town but got lazy haha. And for those who don't know what OFF is, it's a really great game by Mortis Ghost.

I named mine Eternia because it was a place in one of my favorite games, Bravely Default. I also liked the sound of it and how it sounds sort of mystical and stuff. C:

I named my town Finch. The only reason I named it that was because I really wanted to combine my character's name Jane with Finch. Just a random connection. :P

My town name has a personal meaning to me. Aeor was a capital in a story I was writing when I was little. Aeon was a big influence on the name.

Gallia is the name of a country in Fire Emblem. The inhabitants are people who can turn into animals, and that particular country is the "beasts" i.e. cats and lions. It's my favorite country from the games, and I thought it fit.

I called it Lavender. Why? Bc it sounds nice, and it's a city in pokemon. I've never heard of it before. :p
But I like Rosewood too

because its the setting of okami and okami is my favorite game

didnt even know nippon was a real place OTL

Celadon - Favorite Pokemon town
Chrome - Color-themed town
Floralia - Kirby Triple Deluxe setting

I named my town Skyville because my name is Hailey. Hailey is spelled a lot like Halley, the comet, and comets are in the sky. So, my town is called Skyville.

I named my town Trim because when I went to Ireland, I passed through a lovely small town named Trim. Everyone was kind and considerate there, even though I was just a tourist.

I will be having two towns very shortly, so I'll explain the 2nd's future name as well:

?lskling (My 1st & main town) [Pronounced El-skling) - It's a word in Swedish that translates to many things in English; dear, darling, sweetie, sweetheart, beloved, honey, angel, lovely, doll, sugar.. Basically all the pet names and lovely things we call our girlfriend or boyfriend in the English language, but it's summed up in Swedish to that one beautiful word. I'm over 50% Swedish, and I thought I could incorporate that aspect of who I am through using a Swedish word for my town. As for the particular word I chose, I wanted it to be known that my town is my 'beloved' and 'darling' in many ways, so it just fit perfectly.

Braon?n (My 2nd town) [Pronounced Breen-awn] - It's derived from the surname O' Braon?in, which means 'decent of Braon?n' in Irish, and it means 'moisture/drop'. I chose it because again, I love using foreign words or names as my town names, it just makes them sound so unique. Another reason why I chose it is because it's linked to the name of a dear, dear person in my life, and whenever I see my villagers say the town name, I know I'll smile like an idiot every time. It's just very precious to me. ^^

My mayor's name is Bluegill (I have a backstory for my mayor lol) and my town name is Angler - I love to fish, love being by the water etc, so it kind of just happened.

My first handheld videogame was Link's Awakening DX, and one of the dungeons is called Angler's Cavern, so it is kind of a throwback to that as well. :)

My townname is Afayria! I came up with it by myself one day and my town is fairy-princess themed where I am the princess sooo, haha
