I’ve already caught one from the south side of the dock, but I found this screenshot online of somebody who caught it from the beach

That looks like it was caught on a Nook Miles Island from the little corner next to the wrap-around dock where Wilbur lands the plane.

Omggg finally I have got blue marlin while I was doing Cj’s fishing tourney yesterday. And only on 4th fishing baits , not only one but I got 2 of them, here is the screen shot. Now I will try for tuna hope I will get it soon

To be honest, I'm pretty sure that there have been more of these spawns for me than I would think, simply because apparently I reel in "too late" to actually catch them. Frankly I think that's a load of crap and I think the game just likes to play games with me and not when I hit the button to reel it in and pretend I missed it. Maybe that's just me being salty about it, but I swear the game likes to mess with me.

I’ve had luck from the pier or the beach next to it on NMT islands. Just got a couple of blue marlin and a tuna yesterday while villager hunting.

Wow what a luck I got Tuna just now and without any fish baits , can’t believe it, second one is with the fishing baits though, I’m so so happy now I will try on barreleye
