TTing Villagers Out!

Edit: as I accidentally made my retail related post in the wrong tab, might as well edit this with a question I have about the general game too

I realise there are already lots of threads about this topic but none have really answered my question for me clearly, perhaps I'm derpy and don't realise my mistake but, here goes.

I've just started TTing on my side game to get Marina my dreamie to move to my main game. I've never TTd before, and never purposefully tried moving villagers before (I'd have taken her straight on my main game if there had been room at the time). I TTd one day at a time to be super safe, and went a whole month before realising not a single villager has asked to move o. o Not one! I don't care about any of the others in there, so I don't care if they disappear, but I thought at least one would be moving by now!

What am I doing wrong? I know there's no way to specifically make Marina move, I understand that, I talk to her 3 times a visit, and all, but at this point I'm worried that none of my villagers are able to move for some reason?

Do you have less than 9 villagers in your town? Have you greeted her? If so, how many times have you talked to her?

My reccomendations: Send her a letter with a present every day and talk to her 10-15 times every day. Try to get 10 villagers ASAP because the chances of someone wanting to move at 10 villagers is extremely high.

I have exactly 9, so getting a 10th might be the best thing for me at this stage ^^ Thanks c:

Oh xD Didn't notice that. Yeah, I'd recommend getting a villager from someone or the campsite.

Yeah it'l have to be from someone else as I haven't done anything with the spare, such as getting the campsite XD
