TTing villagers out?

I have 10 villagers in my town after Renee moved in from the void of another town. Not only do i need her out, (she is on my paths!) but i need alli, jeremiah, camofrog, kody, and tammy out too.
the only villagers i am keeping are whitney, bam, kyle, and skye.
is there a specific method i should use?

My recommendation is to choose one specific villager that you want to keep (or however many, but one villager should suffice). Then TT one day at a time, talking to this villager(s) as much as possible each day. That villager will almost always tell you when a certain villager is thinking of moving away. Then, have that villager ping you and tell them to leave (if you don't want them)/not to leave (if you DO want them).
That way you can monitor which villagers will be moving.
