Every time I start TTing a lot, my character begins to trip frequently.

This makes me wonder if one of the negative effects to Time Travel is that it causes bad luck.
It could just be a coincidence, but I'm not so sure.

Has anyone else experienced this?

this happens to me too. I had TTed a few days forward on my main town which i had never tripped before and i suddenly started falling a lot it was really frustrating.

Furthermore, when I went to Katrina and got my fortune told after TTing, she said I would have misfortune...

I'm not really sure to be honest.
I TT'd a lot in my second town and never noticed any difference. Perhaps you're just having bad luck on THAT day and it's got nothing to do with TT'ing.

Just wear one of Katrina's good luck hats. The tingle hood or the celebration hat. It negates bad luck.. no more tripping. I never tripped until I started tting.

I don't think I can get those two hats yet. I'm not able to build the Fortune Shop yet, so I can only get fortunes told when Katrina happens to appear in town.

They are reorderable once Katrina fleeces you by charging 10k. Look them up on Moridb and see which one you can tolerate. I stick with the celebration hat. I can order your choice for you. It also increases good luck on lucky days. I never found 4 leaf clovers before wearing it and now I find them all the time.

I've TT'd around 60 in-game days and i've only tripped like on 4 days. I think you just happened to TT on the bad luck days, lmao.

actually thinking back, I had multitudes of good luck days while Katrina was in town and I was still working on getting her set up in main street while TTing

so yeah, you just have bad luck with your TT dates

While TT'ing I sometimes have three or four days in a row that I'm tripping and then I can go weeks without any problems. It's probably like LambdaDelta says; bad luck with your TT dates.

I've been tt a lot today and I've noticed that I have indeed been falling a lot. Yet my fortunes are about money and good luck surrounding me
-.-

Guys, it keeps happening. This can't be a coincidence. So I have a question for you guys who haven't experienced this... Do you often run? Because it seems that tripping will only occur if you run. From my experience, anyway.

I'm an avid TTer, and I rarely get bad luck. I run a lot through my scone town, but I rarely trip. Even I'm surprised at how many good fortunes Katrina has given me. I don't think TTing is giving you bad luck.

There are set dates for every zodiac sign that have bad luck days. And of those bad luck days, as many as four (in my experience) can be bad health, which causes tripping.

For Taurus, March 5th was a bad luck day. No matter how many times I went forward and backward and all around, March 5th was always tripping day for Tauruses.

That being said, again, it differs for every sign. My character Gigi is a Libra, and so she trips on different days than my other toons who are all Tauruses because Gigi is the only actual character of mine that I use outside of game (the rest I have set for my birthday).

When or how it is determined? I can't tell you. But I do know that they're all set days, and TTing has nothing to do with it. I've done enough cycling and TTing to know this as fact ;)
