Can anyone tell me the risks of timetravaling ( mainly timetraveling back in time )
( cause I know time traveling forward in time isn't such a big deal )
If a villager is already planning to move and you don't get a ping from them so you can stop them, TTing at ALL will cause them to move out faster or already be gone from your town.
Time travelling forward is actually riskier than time travelling back. When you TT back, it counts as only one day and when you TT forward it counts as the number of days you're skipping. The only risk is that if a villager has only one day left in your town, they'll leave, but otherwise it's just like letting a day pass. Turnips will rot if you TT at all.
make sure no one is moving, like for real make sure because if you just talk to them once you might miss that someone wants to move and lose your dreamies ):
That's basically it asides from your town rotting if you don't have a beautiful ordinance.
Definitely go one day at a time. It's better to be safe than sorry. I got impatient one day and skipped two in a row and ended up losing Molly. >_<
In my guest town I went back a month to get my side players golden fishing rods. Checked in with the villagers and everything was fine. Going back a month or a year only counts as one day. Just check in with your villagers to make sure no on is moving.
Bingo cards will expire if you go back a day, month or years. Just like turnips expire.
Before I TTed back one of my side player was working on the perfect town and had completed 7 days. Went back a month and 8 more days I received the golden watering can. So going back didn't mess up the perfect town challenge.
If you have dreamies in you town, I would reccomend you think really carefully about why you want to time travel. Some people are as careful as possible and accident still happen. You risk losing your dreamies. That's really the only punishment I can think of besides the turnips rotting and your town becomming full of weeds.
