TT to save someone moving out?

so yesterday i had kid cat in boxes, but my friend msgd me overnight that she wanted to adopt him!
does anyone know if i haven't opened my game yet, if i can tt to yesterday and save him?
i would just try it, but i'm worried about triggering the house exterior glitch as he was kicked via campsite

I don't think so unfortunately. I have tried to do this before, but when I went back to the day before they were gone.

If you haven’t opened your game yet it should work. Worth a try anyways since he definitely will be gone by today.

as long as you haven’t opened the game and kept the date the same as when he was in boxes he should still be there.

If you haven’t opened the game yet, you can TT back a few hours to have the villager still in boxes.

This is what I do when I need a few more hours to keep my villager while the buyer tries to make space.

Just make sure not to go the day BEFORE, because that can glitch your system.

Example: Villager in boxes for the 18th, you can TT to a few hours still during the 18th. But do not go to the 17th, you can glitch your game.
