TT Accident

So, I lost Marshal today over the dumbest thing. I was trying to villager reset a lazy into my town after Chevre moved and I accidentally moved forward too much and Benjamin placed his house right in the middle of my paths and destroyed my orchard.

So I was like "no biggie, I'll just move in a camper and see if I can get him out" so I would walked around each day looking for pings and this went of for almost 10 days straight with no one telling me they were moving so I just kept trying. I loaded my game and Marshal's house was gone..

Ugh, I looked for him for hours months ago and I was really into my town and everything was shaping up nicely but this kinda did it in for me. He isn't leaving anytime soon and I'm not cycling in 16 villagers and watch them destroy the town I put 400 hours into. So I don't know...

Anyone else lose a villager during a TTing accident? I'm so lost rn. I never thought it'd happen to me uuuugh ugh

In my cycle town I was holding cranston that was going to my new town...... he dissappear now I haven't cycle because he stuck on the void so I still have a sort off chances to still have him back

I hope you can get him back! I never lost a villager, I always caught them right before they moved and changed their mind but I was so desperate on booting out Benjamin ;_;

I'm so sorry, sweetie. It can be heartbreaking to lose your guys due to a tt accident and trust me when I say it has happened to all of us. When I lost Stitches, I was so depressed that I did a full reset. Hugs.

Well its just it's sort off of a cycle town until I get all the cats but yeah I really like Cranston and will match perfect with Blanche in my couple town

Thank you ;-; yeah, I was thinking about that but I really put so many hours into this town and I love it so much that I keep thinking I can work around it. I'm not sure I can though haha..thank you for the support.

I lost Punchy to TT accident. I derped out and changed month instead of day and he was gone. Had to cycle 16 guys out but I have him back now XD. Mah kitty. So it's sad but not heartbreaking, as it can be fixed. Just a lot of work.

I'd be so bummed if I lost Marshal. That's why I never mess with TTing outside of changing the time on the current date It's way too risky.

That's smart. I'm just too impatient. I wanted a beautiful town so I'd skip days the second I finished another. Usually I don't do further than a day but I wanted that dumb dog out so badly ;_; I made my bed I suppose haha.

I lost Tangy when trying to get rid of Rasher in one of my first ACNL towns.... I got so upset I restarted then! stay strong and make the most of it! take the time to experiment with other villagers and after a few rounds, you will be able to get Marshal back. I feel that ACNL would be much easier if I had kept that first town, so don't make rash decisions

I lost Ankha after TT'ing for a few days because I skipped the fishing tourney and I thought that everything's okay because nobody was pinging me to leave. I could've sold her... But I ended up getting Canberra after forwarding to the present time, lol. Canberra's fine, but she won't bring me the goods.

aww such a bummer! I lost my favorite villager Stitches from tt. I can't even remember the reason why I was time traveling either but I was really bummed out about it. this happened last year & im still in the process of cycling for him, I'm just doing it very slowly and it has actually been fun having a bunch of new villagers move in. I'm getting attached to some that were never my dreamies like Deirdre - she's been growing on me but eventually she'll have to move since she plotted her house right in front of my doorsteps! (I didn't plot reset)

I know how you feel!! I had alsmot finished the villager list for my town, was tt'ing to see if I could get Katrina a bit faster rather than creating another 4 charecters when I have no room for them....and I lost my lovely Zell nobody even mentioned he was leaving and he never pinged....actually I think he probably did the once when I was talking to another villager and then never pinged after so I missed it
I'm so sad but there's nothing I can do....I can't give up the town I've put so much effort into I'm just looking for Kyle or Wolfgang now as I love them and while they can't replace Zell they can at least make it a bit easier that he's gone.

There will be plenty more villagers that come around, you make friends with and then leave, it's how the game works and stops it from getting stale...

I really wouldn't restart because of one villager in 333

I really wouldn't restart because of one villager in 333

This is always my view when people consider resetting because one villager moved out. Ankha moved out last year when I had a bit of a hiatus... I was absolutely devastated But if it wasn't for her moving, I wouldn't have met so many other awesome characters... at the moment Francine lives in the exact spot Ankha did and she is just as amazing!

This morning my 10th is finally moving in... all of my villagers in Bevelle will be exactly as I want them, but I still wouldn't reset if one moved out. I wouldn't lose my whole town over one person.

[sub]oh yeah, i lost fang yesterday. i was really reckless (TTed 5 days into the future) and arrived on the day he was in boxes. i'm more fortunate than others, though, because i have a cycle town to cycle out villagers quickly and a friend is holding him for me, lol.[/sub]

This hasn't happened to me yet *knocks wood* but I'm super paranoid, and I know that within 3-5 days a villager will ping me to move, so if no one has pinged me by day three of TTing I start talking to EVERY villager multiple times to make sure I catch any rumours. It's super painstaking but it's worked so far. I'm so sorry to hear about Marshal

I decided to keep my town. I have had it for a year now and I can't let it go. As for Marshal, thank you everyone for your love and support c: he left me his picture and I hope I can see him again on mainstreet. As long as I have Zell and Tia, I have my sanity. TTing proves to dangerous though but that probably won't stop me lol

Now to get Benjamin to move. Stubborn pup n_n
