I really need to move Rosie out but she hasn't pinged me about it once.

I've tried ignoring her, Talking to her everyday, Doing tasks for her, But never get the option.
She's my 10th villager & Everyone but her pings to move.

You might have to move another villager out first before Rosie can move. I've had to do the sacrifice
It's not fun. :(

according to people on a facebook page i suscribe to, using the king tut mask helps. when you talk to the one you want to move, wear the mask. i've tried it a few times, i can't tell if it works or not. but others swear by it. also, try selecting the second option when you talk to them (ex: oh, it's nothing, really.). i also like to push them around and beat them with the hammer. not sure if those last two actually help, it's just fun.

I think the last villager who moved in your town won't leave.

I've been having my 10th villagers cycled out lately, Chief was my 10th/last before Rosie and he moved out without a problem.

I've also noticed other villagers have higher chances than others? Whitney has been with me for a long time and pinged me ONCE, Stitches has pinged about 10 times now and I'm getting confused

You can definitely move your 10th villager out. I've done it plenty of times (once recently with Del the cranky aligator). Keep ignoring her while talking to your other villagers 2-5 times each every day.

That's very reassuring! Thank you, But I thought the ignore method was less effective?

Sorry pal :/ I am currently THERE. I have been trying to get Ken out FOREVER. I've tried EVERY SINGLE METHOD and nothing has worked, I just moved out an earlier villager so maybe if I keep trying he'll finally fly the coop. heh. chicken joke.

I feel for you!! I hope you get her out soon!! Rosie is well liked so I'm sure someone will want her! :)

From what I've heard, it's better if you befriend the villager you want to get rid of as much as possible, because that apparently increases the chance of them asking to move. I don't know myself, and it's not necessary to do this, since I had Wendy two days ago, and the first time I time travelled, she pinged me, and wanted to move. I had only spoken to her once. Good luck though! :)

I've never managed to cycle out a 10th villager. I actually thought it was a part built into the game that the most recent wouldn't move out? I've done a tonne of cycling, so I've tried lots of different methods. But I've always had to get somebody else to move out before the newest would leave. Not once in 60 villagers in my main town or countless villagers in my cycle town....
Sorry I can't give you any suggestions to help and I do hope you manage it without having to lose anybody else :)

it is incredibly hard to get rid of a villager that is your 10th, like so hard its not worth it.
you were just extremely lucky with chief

you'll have to move out another villager from your town first so that rosie isnt your most recent 10th villager

It's what works best for me, personally. If I get a random move-in I really don't want, I ignore them from day one and don't even introduce myself. I've gotten villagers to move out really fast by doing that. If I've already talked to them, or they're a dreamie I no longer want, I start ignoring them and spam chat my other villagers every day until my unwanted villager moves.

the ignoring method hasn't worked for me which is what I've been doing for months with benedict and canberra. recently I started befriending them bc I have also heard that helps getting them to ask to move. idk it seems like there are random methods that have worked for others soo there may not be one specific method that is the solution

ONCE I got an unwanted villager to move out by placing trees infront of their home and ignoring them but that was one time, leading me to believe it was due to luck lol
