Hi everybody. I'm brand new to the game, just started playing a few hours ago today, and I'm confused about something. I know certain critters are only available based on time and location, but for some reason I can't seem to find certain bugs that, according to all available sources should be available during the day, such as several butterfly species and the cicada shell, just to name a few. Is there something I'm missing here?

Some bugs are significantly more rare to see than others. I think that the cicada shell has one of the lowest spawn rates in the game so you may have to look for it for a while!

Apparently the cicada shell doesn’t actually exist because I can’t find it… mostly kidding, but it’s so rare
