Trouble catching a tarantula!

My town is currently in June, I've trying for about 1,5 hours to catch a tarantula but I haven't even seen one! It's currently July 3rd 9:20PM in my town if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Oh I meant the time of day xD as in at night ~ oh well I tried.

They can also jump into the water, if you take too long
