Trolls.

Once I saw an interesting case of trolling that backfired. On a gamer website (with mostly guys) the troll tried to talk about sexual harassment at work starring himself and his older female boss. His point was to make the guys say it wasn't really sexual harassement, she barely touched him, it wasn't that bad etc...but it had the opposite effect, people were outraged and pressed him to sue his boss etc. So unless there were hundreds of trolls trolling him back, the guy just created an interesting discussion on the topic.

Not particularly a huge fan of them. They can be entertaining for a short time frame. But after that, they're cringy,
