Trio of chickens or trio of mice?

I have an area in my town where I'm planning to plot three houses in a row and I thought it would be cute if they were all the same species. Only problem is, I'm torn between two different sets of villagers!

The three chickens:
Plucky, Ava & Becky

The three mice:
Penelope, candi & Dora

Which do you think?

Although I just amiibo'd Candi out for Ketchup, then Ketchup out for W.link, I still love the mice.

Dora was my starter in WW back in 2005. ^_^

I'd go for the dodgy chickens.From the chickens you listed,you would have more personality types(uchi/normal/snooty)and then there's the added benefit of fresh eggs every day.

I say Mice as with their difference in appearance as far as color would make the trio unique while the chicken would look too much alike it may get boring.

I'm a bit biased because you have Penelope in your selection of mice (I adore her design) but the chickens have more of a variety of personality. Still voting for mice because I love them.

A trio of mice sounds more adorable than the trio of chickens, but that's just me..and I like the mice more.

That's a tough one. I love all the villagers you posted. I chose chickens. . I have a town with the three you mentioned, and I just love them. Chickens are highly underrated.
