So I have some questions about planting trees. Is it just randomly decided if the tree will grow or not? Also does the weather affect this as well, ex. less trees grow in winter but in spring you have a better chance of the trees growing? Just wondering as lately a lot of my trees I planted just seem to wilt. Thanks!

yes if it snows then sometimes the tree will not grow and you have a better chance of getting a tree if you dont walk over it and if you water it... you have a hundred percent chance if you cut down an old tree and did the stump up and plant the tree in the hole from the old tree

edit: also you can only plant coconuts on or very near to the beach

If you plant the tree on snow, Then you don't have to water it.
Grass-water.
Rain-JustPlant.

Also don't plant trees right next to each other. Also I've heard that if you put a lucky clover by a tree it's guaranteed to grow, but I don't know if this is just a rumor or not.

Pine trees only grow in the north side of town. Planting them too far toward the beach will make them die.

Say if I wanted to bury 30,000 Bells to make a money tree. If I bury it where a stump is, there's a 100% chance it will grow.
it will grow but it might not have bells on it it might just be a regular tree
