Tree planting help? o Ao;;

I don't get it. It's not like it's the first time I ever planted trees in this game, but why are these trees dying??

They can't be too close to the river because I checked and there's like two blocks of space available between the trees and the river.

I also checked the space in between them and there's precisely one block of space between them. Just like the rest of the trees I planted in the other side of town. Heck, I planted trees like one block away from the cliff and they're growing.

So???? What's wrong here?? Am I not supposed to plant cedars in a row or something? Is 4 a bad number?? What did I do wrooong??

it depends, are they in a bush/tree connection or are they by themselvves? if you try to plant 13 bush/trees in a row, the 13th one dies

there can't be 4 13th bushes, i have counted and they are all between the 5th-10th bushes

I'm not really sure. I know I've grown pine trees in the southern half. I'll try growing a regular tree in the north to see.

The only reason I can think of for your trees not growing is the lack of grass. I've heard people talking of dead spots, and that might be it. 0.0

Cedar trees can only grow in the northern half of town, much like how the palms can only grow on the beach. This has been in every Animal Crossing.
