Hello! I had a question about transferring your island, and couldn't find the answer anywhere online. I know that you have to use the acnh transfer tool to transfer your island from one switch to another, but what if you have multiple user houses on the island? Do you have to transfer each user to your new switch before transferring your island over? If you don't would the houses just no longer be on the island? Thank you so much!

Nintendo has a pretty thorough support page on island transfers, you can find it here: https://en-americas-support.nintend...nsfer-animal-crossing:-new-horizons-save-data

But to answer your questions briefly, there are only two options: transfer the entire island and all of its residents, or transfer single, non-representative residents. So you can't move the island without taking all of the residents, but you can take single residents to new islands if you'd like. :)
