it disconnected but just before you disconnected you said that you planted perfect cherries! Now if I'm correct, your native fruit is oranges, right? Those cherries won't ever become perfect cherry trees because it's not your native fruit. Most people usually trade perfect fruits so that when a villager asks for fruit they can give them a perfect fruit of what they requested for better chances of befriending them and of them giving you a picture!
