Trading Villagers Help?

I've seen a lot of posts of people trading their villagers for ones they want, but I'm really confused on how this happens. Could someone explain all of this to me? I am interested in trading and would like to sell Pewee and Kody for starters. And I would really love to have Lucky and Ruby. Thank you for helping!

If you go to the villager trading plaza section you can find what you're looking for, people buy/sell/giveaway villagers there;

When the villagers you would like to sell are in boxes you can post a thread there and if anyone is interested you agree payment, let them into your town, they drop of payment/send tbt or whatever you agree then talk with the villager and invite them to their town and that's it basically .

If you want to actually trade the villagers, wait until one pings then go onto a Trading thread and see if anyone is looking for the villager that pinged and is giving a dreamie... hope that makes sense?

To be honest, you're better just voiding certain villagers who are unlikely to sell. Give it a try if you wish, but as far as trading goes you might get your dreamies faster if you save up tbt (the forum currency) and just buy them on the trading plaza.
Trading a villager for a villager is more difficult since either you or the other person has to be at 9 villagers, you have to find somebody who has the villager you're looking for in boxes, you have to have one they're looking for also in boxes...too complicated for me....

Void the very unwanted villagers or give a giveaway on the trading plaza. Then post on discussions on this site to earn tbt, save them up, then go on to buy the villagers you really want
