Toy Day question.

If I have the items of color they want, is that good enough? Or do they have to be toys? Is this game that precise? I don't have any toys. . .

Toy day it's Christmas but on the 24 and you have to find the reindeer jingle and he give a bag with all the present of your villagers you have to go and find all your villager and give them present but all your animals would prefer something they like they will tell you the color and the thing it is
