So I'm looking through Nook Plaza and figure, "I'm going to see what all the items under 'Interactable' are!" and then I land on this bad boy... and for the LIFE of me I can't figure out what interaction it provides. I got one in the Bug Off, so I placed it outside in front of a couple villagers - no reaction. I tried to maybe "grab" at it, my hands seize nothing - I only seem able to walk over it?? WHAT DOES THE CENTIPEDE DO.... please help.

I can't see that it does anything either. I put a couple outside Beau's house and I've seen him look down and study it but never interact with it.

Maybe the "interaction" is that you can walk over it. I don't think it has any animations that I know about but I never tried to do anything with it so no clue

VERY important question from someone who plays on mute: Does it make a squeaky sound when you walk over it? 😗

Closest answer, seems like... oh well. It's true most items you can't walk over/through, huh - it's just so... underwhelming in this case 💦

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. But thank you for telling me lmao 😭

I HAD A SMALL HOPE TOO... I tend to play at a pretty low volume aaaa

uh i guess its the walking-over it part . only a couple pieces of furniture let you do this anyway. good decoration for the basement only

I think that's it- a furniture item you can walk over is rare, so it's worth noting. Not sure I agree about the basement, though- it could fit otherwise depending on house themes. I've scattered them throughout my witch's house.

The only thing it does is bring me disappointment when I get another from the bug off.

It's so flat and motionless. I wish it was bigger and had wiggly legs.
I do appreciate how it's pretty much like the real toy thing, aha

That's a cool use for them! Nice touch o:
