I have a simple question: does your town have a theme? If so, what is it?

I think my town theme will be kind of like a log cabin. I can't wait to get started on it when I get my new town soon. I already know what path I'll be doing. I'm looking forward to a few replies. :)

I think my town will just be a country/tranquil feel. A lot of wood and flowers and trees. When it comes to town hall and train station renovations, I think I probably won't renovate them at all or get a traditional one (or fairytale if it suits). Very simplistic and cosy.

My second town (digital copy) has a theme of being a barren wasteland, thus the name "Barrens" that is the town where I play as the non caring mayor, my goal is to get a 0 approval rating from the neighbors, and I was able to get the rafflesia to appear in my town in only 5 days.

I don't have a theme. My town is called Fourleaf and if I wanted a theme I'd have to start again... Hmm...

I really want to have a Hunger Games themed town with Katniss, Gale, Peeta and Haymitch.

Haymitch's house would have trash everywhere. It would have some of the sloppy set, and mismatched furniture.
Gale's house would be very natural. It would have hunting clothes, bugs and fish. It would be very homey.
Peeta's house would have an amazing kitchen, beautiful furniture all over the house and lots of art.
Katniss' house would be family themed. It would have basic furniture, wooden chairs and tables and some basic food. It would also have a few mannequins with wedding dresses that President Snow sent to her (in Catching Fire).

The town would be old-fashioned and would have a District 12 look. It would have all the forest and plants on one side and the houses and buildings on the other. I'd have the Japanese-look Town Hall, wooden Police Station, suspension bridges, log benches in the forest, pile of pipes in the village and a garbage can as well. I'd add some more things too, to make it look more like District 12. I would have cobblestone paths throughout the village and then no paths in the forest.

I want this now ^_^ But I don't want to reset again :(

Mine is...I don't even know what to call it but I have a lot of flowers, a few lake designs and a park. I have a lot of perfect apples everywhere. My paths are brick with roses on the edges. Small town maybe?

I don't really have a set theme but thinking about my future plans it kinda just sounds like a big nature park.

My town is called Domina, named after a town from a different game. But aside from the name and the town tune, there's nothing else that really unites my town together.

I suppose I could try harder to actually make my town fit the name; had I thought about it more carefully, I could have tried to recreate the map of the town it's based on, and try to get villagers which resemble characters from the other game to move in. Buuuuut, that would require more effort than I'm willing to put in, haha.

As it is, my town's kind of just a product of whatever I feel like doing when I'm playing.

My house themes:
Main room: Alpine
Left room: Kitchen
Back room: Cabana
Right room: Holiday
Upstairs: Kiddie
Basement: Mario
I really want a bathroom or laundry room, though. I might change my mind. ^^D
My town theme...hmm...well, I like the blue house exterior, and I also want a country feeling to it.

My village is basically a mixture of all cool public works I have seen and liked!
Maybe also thinking about doing an old to new kind of theme!

I'd really be happy with a pastel colored / lolita sort of theme. I really like anything cute though so who knows!

My theme has become chocolate. I've got chocolate tiles with candy cane and a few little chocolate canals. Nothing huge, just around my paths. I don't want to cover my town with patterns, because that would be at expense of functionality. But I do want to do more.
I also want to get the sweets series in my main room (have mermaid now, incomplete) as well as the sweets exterior. So far I have the roof and the door.
