Hiii guys! I'm having trouble deciding what kind of town theme/aesthetic to go for, these are my ideas so far:

*Witchy (lots of greenery, purples, and blues)
*Pink/Kawaii (pretty self-explanatory lol)
*Natural (minimal usage of qr paths, I may create dirt paths)

Sooo yeah, those are what I'm thinking of atm. Lemme know which one you all think I should go for, I just restarted so I've got a blank canvas to work with! I've created very pinky-themed towns in the past but I've never really got to finish one, I have a habit of losing my game cartridges but that's a story for another time haha. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I know there are a lot of people who seem bothered by certain themes being too "common", but I really do like all of your options.
They all sound like fun towns to live in and that's whats important. I think you shouldn?t consider our opinion so much because we only ever see your dream address, while you are spending hundreds of hours in that town. (✿❛ ֊ ❛„)
Also keep in mind, you can also just make "hybrid"-towns. Like a fairytale/kawaii town that transitions slowly into a scary area with a witch house, something where you wonder "am I still in the same town?".
I don?t think you have to limit yourself to one theme..it you like multiple, start out with one and make 1-2 areas designated to different themes.^^

I would do kawaii but the other options are nice as well.

I'm personally inclined to a witchy theme, which also incorporates lots of elements from natural themes. But I agree with what Tomoe said - you dont have to box yourself in to any single theme. Do whatever you have the most comfortable and fun time in, and try hybridizing if you're still torn :) My town is currently fairytale/nature witch and I love it

I definitely like the sound of a witchy town since I love horror stuff and have a horror town, so I'd recommend that. That said though, like Tomoe Hotaru and hunniebun said earlier in the thread, you can always hybridize your ideas.

I think if you've had experience with working with pink towns in the past, then by all means go for it! it just means that you probably have a clearer vision of what you want to do. I'm trying to make a pink town myself but with green mixed in. You could even go for a town that represents two colours if you wanted. For example pink and purple, or pink and black. Which could then fit in with a witchy town theme/pink town theme, if you still can't decide.

You could do all themes, it'll probably be hard work but a lot of fun. I remember a great town called Joy I used to visit all the time and it had different area themes and houes, for example there was a Halloween area with dead perfect fruit trees, spooky themed paths etc and of course Halloween house while there was also Christmas themed, Kawaii themed areas etc as well.

So if you can't decide maybe give different areas a bit of each theme then see which theme or themes you like.
