[Town Reset] I've hit that "phase" again...

I love my current town, it's come a long way. I haven't quite gotten all my villagers.. but.. I've hit that snag in the road again where while I love what I have now, I kinda just don't.. care as much? Like I'm fine with leaving it behind, but I don't want to lose the progress. I know my town likely hits the requirements for Nook to buy it, but I only get one shot at a decent town layout.

I'm just not sure what to do, to be honest. I do and I don't want to create a new town..

I'd personally get a new copy of animal crossing if you don't want to leave your town behind ^^ otherwise, I think you should keep it for a little bit longer before you decide for sure that you'd like to recreate it ;v;

I thought about this, but I can't seem to locate a physical copy for cheap in my area and I always have issues with ordering online. I am in the end going to think about it, because I do prefer to start on the first day of a month.

Like, it won't be difficult to locate my villagers considering I can just adopt them all back with ease.. its just having this town since October of last year and only now just starting to landscape.. I'm seeing so many issues I didn't see with my town when I first picked out this layout. All my original plans just aren't working anymore.
