Town Of Salem (for those who like Mafia)

So one of my co-worker's turned me on to Town of Salem, and it's basically an online version of the part game Mafia or sometimes known as Werewolf, where you are assigned a town role and you try to win by killing each other off.

I had only ever played the actually game once at camp but once I started playing Town of Salem I became hopelessly addicted. I now play it almost every day!

There are lots of fun roles and different game modes and it's fun cause you chat live with the people you're playing with and the games are fairly short, you have days going by in minutes and it's really cool instead of having to wait an actual day.

If anybody wants to join and play you should definitely add me there and say that I referred you, same name as I have here. =]

If anybody is already playing add me and we can play sometime! We can even have matching theme names so we know to help each other out! ;]

Ok, I have to share this, THIS JUST HAPPENED. Playing Any All, get witch, first day I claim witch. Find a killing role first day, the mafioso, have him kill someone, it's his own guy, have him kill his own guys all game, last minute down to him and one other maf with a ww and someone who claimed ww day 1, hang the ww claim, is jester, jester kills real ww, other maf leaves, and mafioso I HAVE KILL HIMSELF I was gunna let WW win, but oh my god. It was just me left. WITCH WINS

tldr; claimed witch day one, was the last one standing.

Very true, but I think that's kind of part of the fun. The update is weird though, how am I supposed to spend my gold coins I have leftover now. =[ I wish I could convert them to silver coins so I could at least buy something.

I love this game! I can't play it with my friends though because they are the kind of people that rage at games easily so its not really fun to play with them!

A few games ago, I was the SK and the first night I got escorted and ended up killing the escort. The friend of the escort told everybody in chat I was the SK. I was so mad, it's like don't play at all if dying makes you salty lol. Not to mention if the escort actually left a will people would of known i was the sk... lol

I just played for the first time yesterday since early May... I'm not a big fan of the merit points (Mainly for the fact I have 1000 town points that will just rot haha.)

The community, overall, seems nicer though! Classic townies are still a little dense (I got revived and then immediately killed by maf and sk because doctor was healing random people,) but what can you expect? It kinds makes the game more fun (so long as they aren't too dumb.)

I sometimes lose my cool, especially if the jailor kills me (see above, I was killed by the jailor for claiming medium, when I was in fact medium,) for no reason. I was chill yesterday though while other people raged. I personally think it's more fun when people (including me, after I cool down,) get upset. I think there's a few times where me being upset was justified (such as being voted up as proven mayor by town, because someone was streaming and chose me,) but /shrug

It's a great game. People ruin it sometimes. That's only because I'm really good at the game though.

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of classic and kind of avoid it, I enjoy any all because it's so chaotic and you can claim anything and people won't be able to call you on it unless they invest you. XD I love Custom too and doing no town game or random games like that, they're super fun.

I've become addicted to Any All games, I don't know why but they're always so fun! Got a big group together and we were taking over lobbies and killing everyone. It was hilarious!

we didn't have vampires or werewolves back then and that is so sad

also we only had like two game modes? custom and classic

Same, I was super close to having enough for the house i wanted in gold coins, now it's all silver coins and I want to shoot the developers, they should at least make it so you can turn gold to silver and silver to gold ya know?

Omg when I first saw the silver coins I thought we could exchange them and **** but no now it's worse

i've never played tos before, but i have played mafia elsewhere. didn't enjoy it at all, mainly because i was terrible at it and also because on the site i played it on, days were just waaaay too long - they lasted like one or two weeks, and in some games even longer D:

tos doesn't sound too bad, since they days are much, much shorter over there. what's the link to the site? o: i kinda feel like giving it a go

For sure, that's the reason I can't keep up with mafia, it takes a really long time, but on TOS it's really nice, there are even way shorter "quick" games, that take like no time at all, but I like the time the normal games have and the different game versions and cool roles, just takes a while to get to know each role but it's really fun!
