I was wondering how other's thought of their town name? Does it have a meaning? I'm really curious!
My town's name is Azalea. I chose it because of the town in Pokemon, It's a name of one of my OC's, and it's easy for me to remember. What about you?

I named mine Berk in honor of my favorite movie How To Train Your Dragon. Plus I also named my character Hiccup xD

My first town was Lyoko because of one of my favorite childhood shows Code Lyoko, my second town is Arcadia for Arcadia Bay from Life is Strange.

My town is just simply Moonsong, and my username is Lightspring, both inspired for my love of the Warriors (cats) series.

My last town was named Holly after my cat. I thought it was cute and kind of nature-y. :p

Westeros comes from Game of Thrones, Yurei means ghost in Japanese (if I did my research right) (also becasuse I've never seen that name anywhere else) (it fits my haunted town theme) (sorry about the billion parantheses)

I'm obsessed with Once Upon a Time, so I tried so hard to think of a name that would fit both OUAT and the 8-character limit. And there I came up with Neveland.

I love stars and constellations, and the idea of "falling stars." However, the ideas of shooting stars and the town name "Starfall" didn't resonate with me, so I named my town Wishfall instead.

Eventually, I hope to have a cartridge dedicated to a cycling town that I will name Efrafa, after the warren from Watership Down.

I was obsessed with the band Mew at the time I created my town, and I thought it was just a short and cute little name. So that's why!

Yamaska (my town's name), is actually the name of a river, close to where I live in Quebec, Canada. I love rivers IRL, they are peaceful and majestic. That's why I chose this name. This games relaxes me, ACNL is such a peaceful world, and I wanted my town's name to fit this characteristic. :)

Mine is Rain, I just thought it was very nice and simple when I was making a forest town but now I changed my theme and I hate it lmao. I don't mind it though.

My current town is Aerolith, which is essentially a meteorite made of stone, so like a star stone. I just thought it was cool. My first town name was Alpha, which referred to a writing workshop I went to in high school.

My first choice of a name was Evergreen, BUT IT'S ONE LETTER TOO LONG :(

My favorite of my town names was Ostara, which was my old cycling town. It represented Easter, which was going to be the town's theme. (My real inspiration for naming it that was the song, "Ruled By the Moon," by the folk singer Maddy Prior.) I never did fix it up, though. It just became a place where I hoarded gyroids and bush starts to use in my town of Goblin.

My first town is Balamb and that was mainly because I couldn't think of anything else at the time. My husband came up with Bunifrey for me (Bun + Gallifrey = Bunifrey), and was made in memory of our bunny, Princess Bun Bun McCloud. So that town is VERY important to me.

I named mine 'Lazy Town' because I was too lazy to come up with anything more creative, and I prefer the lazy type of villagers.

Aww, everyone else's town names are so cute! I wish I was able to change mine. I just kinda picked one off the top of my head when I first started and decided to name it LA. I've had it for about 2 years now so I don't want to reset my town just to get a new name. But I think mine is so lame now, lol.
