Town Name Ideas

I need forest town names for my forest themed town because I hate my towns name (Lysfjord) and I think I want to make a new town or use "other methods" to change the name. I need ideas, I'm bad at naming.

tbh a lot of my town names have been puns or slightly veiled references to other games, if that's any inspiration
other than that, here's some nature-y words i like: Juniper, Violet, Hollow, Linden, Komorebi, Gokotta, Petal, Pollen, Acorn... that's all i've got under 8 characters :,)

Im currently soft resetting for my new town (my last one became corrupt...again) I decided this time id try naming my town after a flower that i like. So maybe try thinking of a type of tree you like!

I love your current town name, Lysfjord!

I was about to recommend you using northern names, but you already did! It made me glad, as I haven't seen many people using names like that. And I think they would be perfect for foresty villagers indeed!

So personally I hope that you will continue with your current OR a new northern name!
But, of course, if you want very different kind of name compared to your current one, I am sure you will come up with something amazing!

Maybe the name Griffith? It has this cute, old-fashioned, mystical feel to it that seems good for a forest themed town.

Sorry, I don't have a dream address for Lysfjord yet because it's kind of a mess, I'll make one when I have more done and the town is clean. I guess I sort of like Lysfjord, I was looking around on google maps in Norway and I saw this village called Lysfjord, but I might do something else Norwegian, possibly Nordland or Nordbyen, but I wanna see if I like other names more before I decide.
