Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how many town layouts there are? :)
I'm re-setting tomorrow and there's this layout that I have my heart set on, so I was just wondering roughly how long it would take to find it.
Oh and another thing- does the town layout include the placement of plaza, retail, town hall, etc?

Thanks in advance! Xx

There's a link somewhere to all possible, but I don't know where it is. And when viewing layouts, it does include those buildings.

Voila~

116 there, though each river acre has more options and there's the lake location, entrances to the beach and where your town facilities are. So there's a fair bit more to consider.

116 layouts, and that's without counting placements for standard buildings because those go random.

Ah thank you :)
What do each of the big squares with all the town layouts inside represent? And why are some of the little squares that are meant to have the layouts inside, have the AC leaf in them instead? (Sorry I'm so confused xD )
That list was really helpful though, I think I've seen my dream layout on it! 6B on the middle bottom square :D xx

The whole thing works as;
Top layer are east towns, bottom are west,
The left hand maps are maps with the river starting at the top of town, middle section have the river starting midway up the town, the right hand maps have the river starting at the bottom of town.
Each row is then for the exit point of the river to the beach. Bottom rows are for rivers exiting at the highest point they can in town, rows 3/4 are towns more equally divided with the river ending in the furthest corner from the cliff, the top rows have the river ending as close to the cliff as possible.
The columns are then each possible route the river can take from those particular river entrances/exits (the crossed out ones were later discovered to not be available map types due to not having enough space for buildings)

The AC leaf'd bits just show there are no more possible layouts that have that particular river entrance/exit.

You can plan plaza/town hall/re-tail placements as they each need to have a whole acre to themselves. (acres being the grids over the map layouts) And the lake is always centred in an acre along the river. Though you also still have to consider ponds and all the other nuances that aren't shown on these that will want considering while you reset.
