Should i go with this town? I've been resetting for six hours....e_e;..... The original fruit is a Cherry and i wanted a town with the square up on the map and the town hall +. Re-tail in the lower part like a mini widdle community~ but my problem is that little sliver on top of the map i want it stretched down more so there is more room up there but stitches is in this layout and im like ohmygodstitches-petsscreen-*~*

I can't help but be amused at how the pics are upside down.

Personally I'd continue trying. ^^

I've just set up a new town and its a lot harder than I thought it would be to get what I wanted, mainly because I wanted specific things.
I've played since game launch & found some things just plain annoying plus I wanted things to be different from my first town.

What I wanted most was R-tail as close to the dock as I could get; a vertical ramp close to the dock (so its easy to run up/down to/from R-tail). A continous beach, peaches or cherries as native fruit.
A 'reasonable' (whatever that means) location for town hall & plaza.
Villagers, grass design and style of town hall/railway station I'd live with whatever I got.

You have some of that - mostly a continous beach, R-tail fairly close to dock, but not a vertical ramp by the dock.

I'd have another walk around the town - look if there are any awkwardly placed rocks, if there is sufficient usable space for PWP and if you can live with the journey between dock & R-tail.
As you progress through the game, having R-Tail close to the dock becomes less important.
If you trade a lot you might prefer it near the railway station.
I wouldn't base keeping this town on Stitches, but then villagers are not my main concern.

I'd keep trying personally... I like my retail closer to the train station. I personally like everything closer to the train station. In other words, all my civic stuff in one area. But that's just me.

I reset 8 times and I just got fed up with it and took what I could live with in the end - I got peaches as native fruit, would have preferred cherries, a vertical ramp by dock & R-Tail closeish to the dock - a fairly straight run up so OK.
Town Hall/Plaza/R-tail all close togther (almost in a vertical line) - a continous beach, but also a largish private beach which I didn't want.
A river which flows the right way (my other town, the river flows upwards which is just plain weird).
A large empty area on other side of river - not sure about that, but rock placement seems reasonable.

Nice villagers - I know I said I was not over bothered, but I did discount a town as it had Ceasar in the welcome party and I've never liked him since acww days.
But like TC I'm not entirely sure about it and I'm wavering.

I love diagonal paths and this town just doesn't want diagonal, it all connects better with straight ones and I don't like that much but hopefully can work round it over time.

I actually have similar to this layout and even though it looks abit odd, i have plenty of room. Go with what feels right though!

I've been resetting for 10 hours, and regretted giving up some layouts. I would reset this layout too because Re-tail, Town Hall and Plaza are too far apart. Villagers will come and go, the town will always stay.

I ended up with this layout, all main buildings packed together in a corner along with my house. It saves a lot of roads and he void in between can safely be packed with flowers without having to worry about a villager moving in.
