Town Layout Help?

Okay so I want to create something like Aika Village (not gonna be 100% horror and ****) like how each house progresses into the story y'know. So house 1, then house 2, then house 3, then house 4.

(The names for each house are like First, And, Then, End idk i couldnt think of anything lol)
Not gonna spoil what its about since im embarrassed to buut

But I'm not sure how.

Yellow - First House
Blue - Second House
Purple - Third House
Pink - Last house
Black - path

Red is a bridge I'm planning to take down

I'm not really sure if that's the best use of my map. Like I want the houses spaced apart but I also want the dreamer or whoever visits know which house to visit in which order so idk. Any help would be really appreciated. I think the second house is too close to the first house but idk?? I'm not really using the left part of the map (i want to but idk how lol)

I think the path work works fine. There's just a lot of dead space in your town. The thing that makes the Aika town amazing is that the creator utilized the entire map. You, on the other hand, have a lot of dead space. Not sure how you would fix that, other than resetting for a new town layout. For the spacing of the houses, the yellow and blue houses are too close to each other. Space the blue one farther to the right.

I do recommend you reset. Your town layout doesn't work with what you're aiming for.

Hmm okay! What would you recommend for a layout? Would the plaza be somewhere in a corner so I could use all the space?

Plaza should either be in the center or in a corner. Refer to the Aika map if you're going to make your plaza a central one. You need the river to meander around it like it does in Aika.

Your map is almost identical to the one I'm using for my town of Pripyat.
I think you should reset. A centralized Plaza would probably be easier to work with.
Do you want to spread the houses out a lot?

Yeah I want the houses to be spread out a lot. I was thinking of a center plaza except they almost never come with a good river, so a corner plaza might be easier to find.
