Town Ideas

Every town (or most) have a certain theme! For instance a desert themed town. Or a scary horrer town. Either way (most towns) have a theme! What are themses that you think a town should have and also what to name it! (I'm not getting a new town or anything, just wondering)

My Ideas:

1) Town Name: Dump
Theme: A Dump ; Giant Garbage Can

2) Town Name: [YOURNAME]'s Farm
Theme: Hacve only farm villagers and also make farm pattutrns (Horses, Pigs (ETC)

Thats all I got? Any themes you guys got?

My theme right now is Wild Flowers
just because im lazy to colour coordinate, i plant flowers everywhere. it looks nice though.

All four of my towns are themed.I always go for cute, kid friendly towns.They usually are themed after a cartoon or nursury rhyme.But, my next town will be about family.I want the characters to look like my kids and hubby.The rooms in their houses will be themed with things they like.Example...My hubby loves pirates and light houses. My son likes the Denver Broncos and walking dead. My daughter likes Shakespear and Pokemon.I won't beable to do this for a long while, but I have a bunch of ideas and I look forward to getting started.

Since I'm planning more carefully on my second town, it's going to have an enchanted forest kind of theme. It'll kinda match my new town name, too. At least in my mind since I picked it in honor of my bunny who passed away last November.

I have many town ideas.

Circus town:
It would have colorfull roads and villagers like pietro and velma ( she could be the bearded lady). Also general circus animals like lions, tigers, bears, elephants, ect. The mayor would be the ring master.

City town:
Lots of street lights and road patterns. It would have urban villagers like cats and dogs.

Fantasy town:
Lots of fairy tale themed pwps. The villagers would be anything mythical or relating to fairy tales.

Island of Misfit Toys!
Possible Town Names: Misfit?

Short Description: From the 1964 television special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the "Island of Misfit Toys" where unwanted and defective toys are sent. Ideal for a Christmas/winter town theme.

Player Character (What they represent) - Home:
Sam (Sam the Snowman, the narrator) - Ice set, Snowman set, something resembling an igloo perhaps
Santa (Santa Claus, duh) - A toy shop, Santa's office, perhaps a bakery for gingerbread and eggnog, etc
Hermy (the elf) - A quaint little house with toys everywhere
Yukon (Yukon Cornelius) - A house with a mine theme, ores to decorate
Either Sam or Santa as Mayor.

Possible Villagers (who they represent):
Erik (Rudolph)
Fauna (Clarice, Rudolph's love interest)
Hans (The Abominable Snow Monster of the North AKA The Bumble)
Elvis (King Moonracer, a winged lion)
Colton (Charlie-in-the-Box)
Tia (Spotted Elephant)
Felicity (Dolly)
Stitches (teddy bear)
Flo (magic 8 ball)

If I had a second copy, I would either try that, or grab all the "fantasy" villagers like Phoebe, Drago, and Julian for example. c:

- After a movie e.g. frozen
- A time in history e.g. tudor times with tudor looking houses etc.
- Another country e.g. China with rice fields, India with slums, Australia with koala bears
- make a university campus out of your whole town ^^

and the one i'm going by...
- miscellaneous (i.e. a forest in one area, a flower garden in another, zen and rocks in another)

My town doesn't have a theme but I like your Dump idea. It's kind of creative.
