Town idea's/planning

So my town is definitely growing but I'm looking for some opinions on it and ideas on it through my dream address
Only 1/2 half of the town looks like good and the rest is kinda a mess, so I would love some opinions on...
1: What to do with the rest of my town. Mainly the big open space next to town plaza
2: What to put around my house, I regret where I put it so I need ideas on what to do with where its at
3: Any pwp that you think would fit in my town

I'm not super great at giving advice on town planning, but here goes:

- I'd say lay down some paths around town - they'll help you see where best to put PWPs, and bushes and flowers for landscaping. Ignore this if you aren't a fan of paths (I wasn't before, but I've converted now - it makes my town seem a lot less messy).
- You could surround your house with a garden, and some bushes and trees. It's kind of annoying how you have a villager so close to your house, but you could make it work (perhaps, a bush fence to separate your houses?).
- For the big open space next to the Plaza, I've got a similar space in my town. Right now I'm trying to convert it into a park area, with a wisteria trellis as the entrance, and leading into a Square with a zen clock in the center. And some benches. And a lot of flowers, bushes, and trees. This is still a work in progress but you're free to visit my town for some ideas (dream address in profile). You could probably do something similar, with a fountain as the centerpiece?
