town donations

Hi, I have a question about town donations. I have the extra bridge right now, so I paid 200.000. I want to save up for the windmill/lighthouse now, but do I have to pay 400.000 (to make a total of 200.000+400.000=600.000) or do I need to pay the full 600.000 new? Thanks!

First you have to donate for the fountain (500.000) before you can donate for a lighthouse/windmill.

As Ehingen Guy said, you need to pay 500,000 bells for the fountain before you can get the windmill/lighthouse for 1,000,000 bells. You also start over when you get a new landmark, so although you donated 200,000 before, you have zero donated now. Don't add the previous donation amount with what you have now, you only have 400,000.

You need to donate 400,000 bells (not 500,000) for the fountain. Then you'll need to donate an additional million bells for the windmill/lighthouse.

The Prima guide is wrong. It's 400,000 for the fountain *after* the extra bridge (200,000 bells) has been built. So I think that's where the 600,000 figure is coming from (the total of the bridge and fountain).
