Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of making my mini-golf themed town, but I need to figure out of couple things about placement and characters, and I'd love the help.

here's my map:

Basically, I'm using a bunch of pwps as obstacles and stuff, and i thought of an idea with the fairy-tale castle exterior being used as an obstacle. So.....I was thinking at first that i should put the castle in the middle, kinda directly between the orange house and the green house, and then north.
Buttttttt (with a lot of t's) i also thought that it might look too crowded if I put a castle in the center of my town.

Additionally, I dunno what to name the character that would live in the house, should I make it a princess? /yes ima guy/

Oh, and my other characters consist of me (Caddy), Mulligan (Town chef), and eventually a hotel-owner character named Birdie. So, a golf-themed name would be cool for the fourth character too.

If you are doing mini golf there will be lots of patterns to lay out at your town. You might need 3-4 characters just to carry your path designs. Also you should go ahead and make a girl character. It will be fun to see Marshal hitting on you. Also Timbra, Cookie and Bella will gossip with your girl character.

I think placing a castle in between the green and yellow house wouldn't be too much if you are planning to spam the northern part of your town with PWPs. Remember you can have up to 30 PWPs at your town.

Here's a dream address with players' houses lined up. As you can see with careful planning... it doesn't look too crowded:

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If it is a "mini golf" town, it probably should be pretty crowded :D
Any ideas for a character/name/look?

Lol since your male character name is "Caddy." How about a female name by the name of "Cally?" Also her face should be the female counter part of your male character.
Or you can make characters based off of people you know in real life.

You could base her off princess peach and put peaches around her house. This would work even better if you had peaches as your native fruit. And then do a Mario or even Mario golf theme around her castle. I don't know, I haven't played Mario golf but the whole princess and castle idea brought it to mind.

That's actually AWESOME, I do have peaches as my native fruit ^o^ Thanks so much!!!! Since there's so much mario DLC it'd be perfect, ackkk it'll be a lot of work but this is a wonderful idea

I'm glad you like the idea! It's even better that you have native peaches. You could do alternating regular and perfect peach trees around her home and it would match her colour scheme so well! :)
