Town Building Placement Suggestions

Hello everyone! ^.^ I started a new town (got a 2nd copy of ACNL) a little over a month ago and I'd like some suggestions in where I should place certain buildings around my town. Below is my map and I have erased the villager homes that I will will not be keeping and I have added in where my 4th playable character will live as I need that spot open in the meantime for plot resetting.

I love my town but unfortunately I hate how it has so many rocks (which are indicated by the red dots). So they are making placement pretty difficult. Also feel free to visit my Dream Address (in my sig) if that helps give you a better idea of placement. I only have one rule placement wise and that is that I don't want any buildings on the lower island part where all my playable characters live. I have special plans for this area.

Anyways, below are the buildings I'd like some placement suggestions on:

• Cafe
• Police Station
• Campsite
• Reset Center

That little area where all of your character houses are looks so cute!

Personally, I would put the Cafe, Police Station, and Reset Center anywhere between the Town Hall and Retail. That would give that entire area a more town hub type of feel. For the campsite, that open space to the far right, just above the river where your player houses are, looks like i'd be a great spot to have a mini forested area, like a park with a campsite. c:

Blue line = Camp
Pink line = Cafe
Yellow line = Reset center
Orange line = Police station

I'm guessing you're planning to keep the villager on the top left, so if that's true ignore the pink line that's there!
If you're planning to keep that bridge by the other pink line, i'd put a cafe nearby so on your way into your characters houses, there's a cafe. I think it'd be cute.

For the reset center, I've seen a lot by the town hall, and always find them nice there.

I ended up deciding that the camp should go on the very right by the river/wall area..
But other areas I was considering were by the beach cliffs. Ex: Between the last two red dots on the left, but all the way by the cliff, or on one of the other cliff edges below the left corner of the town plaza or the cliff edge closest to the bridge on the left.

I'd do something along these lines, space allowing.

Cafe: Brown
Police Station: Gray
Campsite: Green
Reset Center: Black
