Town and island grass shape?

I have triangle grass in my town and my island has circle grass. I?m wondering if this is randomly mixed or predetermined? Can a town with triangle grass have a square grass island? What is your grass shape in your town and island, and do you like it?

Hmm I never paid attention to the grass pattern shape on the island.. I will check later and see if they are different lol

My town grass is triangle and I'm not sure about my island but I think it might be triangle I'll have to check when I get home. I like the triangle grass but that's probably because that's the only shaped grass I'm used to, or because I don't pay too much attention to the grass anyway
