the tiers system works more on what is popular at the moment, rather than what is popular collectively over time. It'll be interesting to see what similarities come up between the two, though.

I do see that there are differences between this and the tier system.
The tier system is based off of who is in signatures and who is looked for in the looking for threads and how fast it takes for a villager to be adopted.
This is based off of the community voting.
