Top 10 Favorite Villagers: for each Tier!

One of the most controversial things are the popularity ranks. The Tiers are always changing, so REMEMBER: this post is 7-31-15. The tiers are going to change as time progresses, so don't tell me "Oh, Julian is Tier 1 you idiot!" he currently isn't. I think it would be cool to list our top 10 favorites from each Tier! Here's mine

Tier 1:

1. Rosie - She's my personal favorite within Tier 1 because of her adorable personality and looks~
2. Lolly - My most trusted friend in Loki and a beautiful soul.
3. Kid Cat - He's a lot of fun in my village and I love having him around
4. Ankha - She was a pleasant surprise in my village and I'm so happy I took her~
5. Mergengue - I've never had her, but she does look very cute and I wouldn't mind adopting her someday
6. Fauna - She reminds me of Bambi.
7. Chief - I like his color scheme. He reminds me of a fox~
8. Beau - I do need to admit he's cute
9. Marina - Out of all the octopi, she's probably the cutest
10. Whitney - I'm glad she hopped into tier 1. She's a definite cutie and I'm a fan of her color

Honorable Mention: Fang because he seems pretty cool

Tier 2:

1. Phoebe - One of my dreamies and I love her design~
2. Flurry - I can't get over how adorable she is~
3. Chrissy and Francine - I can't place them on differing parts, because to me they should always be a set, so they both take no. 3. I would -love- to have my Bubblegum Twins in a town someday~
4. Apollo - I'll be damned if he isn't one of the coolest designs I've seen in-game
5. Pietro - HE'S SO DAMN COLORFUL GUYS!
6. Tia - I had her in my campsite and considered her for a WHILE. While I did decide against her, her design is beautiful~ She reminds me of a Lenox design
7. Freya - I really like her name, so she sticks out to me~
8. Molly - She was the best part of Chuggaa's LP and was in my town for a bit. Such a dear.
9. Rudy - Had him before. He's a cutiepie
10. Bunnie - She, Francine, and Chrissy are -really- making me want a damn bunny town. She's so colorful

Honorable Mention: Poppy, Maple, and Punchy because all 3 are adorable

Tier 3:

1. Lobo - Ugh God this guy is just full of wise cracks and awesomeness and he's -never- leaving my village
2. Snake - I like having him because I'm a fan of Metal Gear, and he looks unique. His expressions are cute too.
3. Pekoe - Her design is really cute and I'd like to have her around sometime~
4. Drago - Because Dragons
5. Felicity - She has a really pretty face and looks friendly~
6. Biskit - He always made me laugh in Chuggaa's LP, and I think he conveys his design better than Stitches
7. Ruby - Because Albino Bunnies!
8. Cookie - Cute pink dog cannot resist...
9. Lily - She and Puddles are probably my favorite frogs~
10. Kabuki - Name mostly. Used to be my nickname on a game (one of em anyway)

Honorable Mentions: Mira because of her design, and Willow because of her colors

Tier 4:

1. Merry - Her name is so cute and so is her design. Definitely gonna have her in another town sometime~
2. Bluebear - She's just too adorable and she's bluuuueeee
3. Agent S - She's bluuueeee and I owned her once and she's a total creep but in a funny way
4. Teddy - Because lol Teddy he's just an amazing pun
5. Peanut - My grandpa used to call me Peanut so she stands out~
6. Carmen - Can't get over how adorable her face is!
7. Shep - Shep's just too cute
8. Ribbot - Robofrog!
9. Chester - I'm surprised he's not more popular, since he's a panda o-o
10. Pashmina - I like her name and she's cute

Honorable Mentions: Mint because I actually like mint green, and Apple because she's so scary it's sorta appealing

Tier 5:

1. Lucha - I always go on and on about how he's my absolute favorite and he always will be. I love him so much.
2. Puck - Hockey penguin ffs WHY IS HE TIER 5?
3. Kitty - She's a snooty little so and so and I adore her
4. Marcel - Love his name reference and design
5. Puddles - My favorite frog along with Lily
6. Celia - She was so kind and pretty. I love her~
7. Derwin - lol Derwin's so nerdy and derpy I love him
8. Egbert - His house is so cooooooollllll
9. Midge - Soft spot due to name and I like her design
10. Ricky - He's just so adorably angry it almost kills me~

2. Ankha ~ Even though I don't like the snooty personality, I consider Ankha one of my favorites because of her character design. I love seeing the different cultural references in Animal Crossing, especially Middle Eastern since I enjoy learning about that region's history a lot.

4. Marshal ~ I still don't like smugs, but I wanted to have villagers of different personalities, so, when it came down to picking a smug, I thought Marshal was the cutest one. I'd like him more if he was a cranky though. :]

Tier 2
1. Punchy ~ he looks like one of my friends' cats; plus, I had him from day one and I refuse to lose him. I love his smug expression, his classy cat appearance (to me, he gives me that impression), and his lazy personality. He's just so cute. :]

Tier 3
1. Kiki ~ I liked her the minute I talked to her in someone's dream town; prior to that, I thought she looked like her nose was squished and wasn't that cute. Now, however, I think she's so sweet and adorable and am happy that I bought her. ^_^ She's such a cutie.
2. Roscoe ~ he's the only horse that I like in the game so far. He sometimes gives me the chills when I look at his red eyes.
3. Felicity ~ I had trouble deciding between Rosie, Merry and her when I had to choose which I'd want more in my town since I didn't want my town to be all peppy villagers (since that's what a lot of my favorites are); I ended up getting Rosie (and wanted to keep Rosie but I just lost her; now, I have Merry).
4. Tom

Tier 4
1. Merry
2. Dotty ~ I had her in Wild Word and from what I vaguely remember, I remember that I thought she was sweet and very cute, so, I hoped I'd have room for her in my village...but, then there were other peppy villagers I thought were cute/cuter.
3. Peanut

Tier 5
1. Puddles <3 ~ she has been with me from day one
2. Pudge ~ so cute ^^, yet it makes me a little sad that I never noticed how cute he was until recently.
3. Gaston ~ he has been with me from day one too, and while I didn't think much of him at first; I'm happy to say that I'm quite attached to him and glad to have him in my town.
4. Drift ~ I don't like the jock talk but when Drift was camping at my place, I thought he actually was pretty cool; plus he's kind of cute ^^.
5. Gabi
6. Harry ~ I just recently let him leave; he was my first tenth villager, whom I got from a friend's void. I actually was kind of attached to him too, though not as much as I was attached to Gaston.

There are times I can't really make it to ten while still referring to villagers as "favorites" so I'll just go as far as I can for each tier.
Tier 1
1. Whitney- Favorite of all villagers ever, first villager I ever bought.
2. Fauna- Found her in the campsite, I wasn't sure about getting her at first because I already had two deer and I like variety but I'm glad I did because she was my 2nd favorite villager ever.
3. Lolly- One of the founding villagers that greeted me right off the train, seeing her go was sad but the money I got for her is how I got Whitney
4. Beau- Good times with him, he was the 2nd deer to move in and 2nd to last deer to move out (I have had all but three deer in the game through pure chance)
5. Kid Cat- Never had him but he seems like one of the cooler cat villagers.
Tier 2
1. Phoebe- My 2nd favorite current villager and 3rd favorite all-time villager. I don't usually like ostriches but I gladly make an exception for the always awesome uchi phoenix.
2. Bam- The first deer to kick off a bizarre trend my town had of a deer villager moving in every time one moved out (he came in after Fauna moved out).
3. Fuchsia- The only random move-in deer, the rest were all from the campsite. She moved in after Bruce moved out.
4. Francine-A founding villager who greeted me like Lolly, didn't really like her at first but she really grew on me and I was a little sad to see her go.
5. Julian- Current villager, he's part of a medieval fantasy theme I have going
6. Octavian- I actually kinda hated him, he moved in right in front of my house and refused to leave for so long that I wound up with 3 villager pics, but I did so love to hate him. I kinda miss having a rival villager to torment needlessly.
7. Lucky- Saw him in my campsite once when I fist hit a full town population, it was disappointing but I enjoyed playing campsite games with him and he stopped by for coffee in Brewster's later.
8. Wolfgang- The only wolf to ever appear in my campsite, too bad I had a full town (Why must you torment me game? Why?).
Tier 3
1. Roscoe- First dreamie ever, saw him in a youtube playthrough before I even had the game and I just love the color scheme and the way his eyes change color. Someone was about to void him in five minutes and I snagged him, he's right next to my house.
2. Bruce- First deer ever, he made me think of Batman with his name, color scheme, personality, and the way he would claim to patrol other villagers houses to investigate claims of pitfall seeds.
3. Lopez- My forth deer, at this point I was just inviting them in from amusement at the weird trend but I enjoyed having him.
4. Drago- Part of my theme town, the lips are weird but once I got used to it I warmed up to him.
5. Colton- He was an auxiliary dreamie, I needed another horse and when he appeared in the campsite it finalized my choice and he moved into the perfect spot and the first try (lined up with Julian). I always have trouble finding him though, he's just one of those villagers you can never find unless you search every shop and museum exhibit.
6. Deirdre- The last deer, she was the end of that bizarre trend of deer moving in when one moved out.
7. Mira- When I first looked through the uchi list I figured she looked best, there are others I grew to like more later due to personal experience but I do like her design.
8. O'Hare- One of my first villagers, he looks hilarious one New Years with the little party hat on his normal hat.
Tier 4
1. Bangle- My favorite founding villager in a town that involved Lolly, she is probably my forth favorite villager of all time and the one I kept the longest, I let Fauna go before I let Bangle go.
2. Sterling-Eagle knight, he was a dream villager before I even decided on a medieval fantasy town. I don't know why eagles rank so low.
3. Tammy- My first uchi, I like this personality even if some people don't. They may act weirdly shifty (which I kind of like actually) but if you get stung by a bee they give you medicine more often than other villagers (seriously the only villager to help with a bee sting for me was Whitney and I was really surprised).
4. Dotty- She's one of my current villagers, plus I am just a sucker for villagers with glowing red eyes of doom.
5. Savannah- Honestly as far as horse villagers go she outranks Colton a little, but as a zebra she wouldn't fit in with my town theme. If I saw her in the campsite I'd take her as a temp villager but she couldn't stay.
Tier 5
1. Curlos- I have weird reasons for liking him, he honestly didn't grow on me until after I voided him but I started writing short stories about voided villagers and I had a lot of fun with him long after he left.
2. Bella- Glowing red eyes of doom. In all seriousness though she was one of my first villagers and she really grew on me (also glowing red eyes of doom).
3. Knox- He is a knight, with a golden helmet and a cool dungeon-looking house, why does he rank so low? It's probably because he's a chicken, if you had a deer knight people would be all over that.
4. Broccolo- His eyes glow yellow but that is still pretty cool, also he was a founding villager.
5. Mac- Founding villager- Sentimental value is pretty much a driving force for many of my choices but I liked him when he was in my town, even if my memory is a bit fuzzy as to why.
6. Sparro- Current villager, I liked the way he looked and took him in from the campsite.

Tier 1
1.Fang - I had him as a dreamie for a while and ended up having to give him to someone when I didn't have room to move him into a new town. :c
2. Diana - I had her really early on in NL and then when I changed the town to a cycling town, I messed up the dates and lost her. :c I have her again though! She's the reason I couldn't move Fang into my winter town.
3. Beau - He's a dreamie in my french town and I absolutely love him. <3
4. Stitches - I've had him a few times and super love him, but he just didn't go with what I wanted my towns to be, so I'll get him back when I make a new town. c:<
5. Whitney - I have her in my winter town and she's always been one of my faves since I first started playing! ^^
6. Chief - I love his design so much. Funny story: when I stopped playing NL because of X/Y He moved in right in the middle of my main pathway to Main Street, so I hated him. Whenever I came back, he was gone and I was really happy lol. But I gave him a second chance and adopted him again and I actually really liked him. ^^ Although, at the time I was unsure of what villagers I still wanted so I don't have him any more. :c
7. Fauna - I had her for a little bit, but idk, I just didn't super love her. But she's cute. c:
8. Marshal - He's one of my boyfriend's favorites, along with Static. I had him for a while too, but I just didn't mesh well with him. I still think he's cute though. c:
9. Lolly
10. Merengue - They're the only other 2 I've had that I somewhat enjoyed.

Tier 2
1. Julian - I sort of stole him from one of my friends and I fell in love with him. I kept him for 2.5 actual years before giving him to someone else. Definitely in my top 5 favorite villagers of all time.
2. Erik - I have him in my winter town too, and I just love his design, and he's super cute~! ^^ <3
3. Bob - He randomly moved in next to Julian, so we were the best trio of friends. Now he lives in my best friend's town. ^^
4. Punchy - I had him in my town for a bit before he moved to my boyfriend's town. He was a cool villager. I really enjoyed having him, and now I'm glad my bf gets to enjoy him. c:
5. Flurry - I've had her a few times as well, and she has got to be the cutest villager. I love her so much, but I've been contemplating on whether I want another Penguin/Wolf for my winter town or if I love her enough to keep her. I could also move her to my themeless town when I get it...
6. Wolfgang - I had him for a while whenever I was unsure of what villagers to have, and I really enjoyed him. c: He just did go with what I needed in my town.
7. Molly - I've had her before and she was a delight to have. c: She's so cute and every time I see a mallard irl, I think of her and how cute little duckies are. ^^ <3
8. Rudy - bc he's Felicity's bae
9. Bunnie - I had her once and was really upset when she left. :c I thought she was super cute and I was excited when she randomly moved in. :c
10. Freya - I was super excited when she moved in from my campsite a few years ago. I really enjoyed her company in my town, but alas, I don't have her anymore. :c

Tier 3
1. FELICITY - BB!! All time fave villager for sure!
2. Kabuki - I really like his design and he's a kitty. :3 Also he's in my bf's town. c:
3. Colton - He's Julian's prince charming and I had them at the same time. <3
4. Bianca - She's another one I have in my winter town. c:
5. Vesta - I've always thought she was super cute, but I've only had her in a cycling town, so I haven't gotten to know her yet. :c
6. Lily - I've had her before. She's cute. c:
7. Willow - I thought I was going to have her for a long time, but she ended up not fitting in with my town as I thought she would. She's still super cute and adorable though. c:

7. CuBE BBY - It took me SO LONG to get this little penguin bby for my winter town and I FINALLY GOT HIM in my cycling town and moved him over and he found a very nice home next to his cute little sister
8. Aurora - Cute little bby chickadee she's in my winter town and I love her just as much as I love my little Cube bby <3
9. Roald - I've been thinking of replacing him with Flurry for more penguin cuteness c:
10. Rolf - He's also in my winter town and he invites me to his house all the time to try to get me to work out or somethin but he's a cutie ;u; <3

Tier 5
1. COUSTEAU MY SWEETY - I love him and I can't wait until he's moved into Laverre (last dreamie yay~!) so that I can finish my landscaping and then make my dream address FINALLY
