Do yall have a personal limit as to how many villagers of the same personality type you allow on your island at a time. As of rn, three of my dream villagers are normal, and I don’t know if it would feel like an over abundance. Thanks!

Trying to get every single personality type on my island, but definitely don't want more than 1 peppy or jock. All the type dialogue gets repetitive in this game but Peppy and Jocks have it the worst. Tired of hearing peps talk about being a "Moon [insert species]" and jocks... just being jocks? Every other personality I wouldn't mind having doubles of, even if multiple Lazy's are stretching it.

In NL, I did one of each personality, with two slots left over for any personality. I don't think I will put that restriction on myself this game; I'm just inviting whatever villagers I like to my town.

I don’t have a personal limit but I also don’t have dream villagers, I like villagers moving in and out so I can get to know everyone! Lazy is my favorite type though, they’re so cute!

I kicked my uchi out (never to be replaced) so I guess I'm only missing snooty? I love my current normals though so not sure I'll replace them anytime soon.

Just me that absolutely loves jocks and could never have too many... like axel who is already quite unpopular just melts my heart. He stands next to his tyre toy I made him and he does his squats and then has to have a break and sweat. I then give him applause and he blushes. And he gave me the cutest glasses because he liked my dress. I also find them carrying their weights around super cute and although the dialogue can get repetitive i find it cute how they are so proud of their achievements of doing a few squats and a few reps of their tiny weights. I just find jocks the cutest and sweetest.
The dialogue, for me, is repetitive. Peppies with the constant pop-star nonsense, jocks with sweat and muscles. There's no depth. I guess I can't help but always compare personalities to the superior (personality-wise, imo) gamecube version.

im planning on having one of each personality with 2 lazy and 2 smug, but once i get all of the benefits exclusive to personalities (i.e which reactions are taught by villagers is tired to personality iirc) i might switch it up and have another double personality since im not really crazy about any of the cranky designs.

I can't stand jocks. I ended up kicking out kid cat for chevre. I have their cards so if I change my mind, I can always bring kid cat back. I'm also not a fan of peppies either. A bit too hyper imo.

Personally my preference is to have 1 of each, with 2 of the personalities being doubled on! I can stand 2 of any personality type because I like them all, but 3 is just too much no matter which it is.
Awhwhwhwb jocks are cute but I haven’t really had much experience with the others but I agree with peppies.... the whole famous vibe thing is kinda mad

I have three peppy villagers, and that's at least one to many. Though I'm not sure if that's 100% because of personality or that I'm just tired of one of them in particular.
When it comes to my peppy villagers two of them are fine, but the third I only talk to once a day. But she has a cute house and she does yoga, which is very cute, so it's not that I hate her.
