I'm curious what people here, - those who enjoy animal crossing - think of Tomodachi life?

I've played the demo a bit, but I'm still unsure. The voices seem really annoying, and I don't know that the entertainment value of seeing "people" react in weird ways would last for more then a few weeks.

If it was $20 I'd give it a shot, but $45+ just seems too much, and as a Nintendo title, I know the price isn't going to go down by much, if at all - I often buy games a year or more after they're released in order to save.

I'd really appreciate hearing from those who've played it, to get a better idea of the game.

Thanks

It's real fun at first, but after playing it for a few weeks/months, it's really repetitive, and I'm starting to only check in for new food or clothing items. If you want it, I'd wait for a sale or a price drop.

I really dislike the game. It's fun at first, but it gets far too repetitive to continue playing daily. I haven't touched the game in ages and I wish I hadn't purchased it digitally.

If you do get it, please do not buy it at full price.

I gotta say it does get boring after you've been in all the shops and there's no events going on, quite like when you've overused animal crossing. BUT... The miis do some really funny things. If you have someone extremely close to you it's so much fun to play as them. Being someone that only has ever watched the trailer, it is much more surprising and fun when you haven't watched any videos.
Got it at ?27. I must say it was an alright price for a game like this. I think I will have more fun when the game progresses and I get more things to let my miis wear or the extra amusements. :)

Agreed. It's fun, but I only check in for like 2 minutes a day to see the daily specials.

I would never pay full price for it, even 34.99 which was Nintendo's price and Target's price. I would definitely wait for it, and if you do get it, don't play everything at once and have Miis of all personalities from the start.

When I bought the game, I was very unsure if I liked it or not. There was barely anything to do at the start, but as the weeks went on, I ended up addicted to it, it's really fun, I bought it at full price and definitely got my moneys worth. I hope you enjoy it if you ever pick it up :)
