It's basically your island rating. It depends on how many requests you've done for your islanders and how happy they are. 71 is really high! There probably was an Mii News announcement letting you know of the star rankings beforehand.
Oh! Come to think of it, I remember something like that. When I saw the news thing, I just assumed that it was another one of those little things on the ranking board at the time. Thanks so much for your help!
How is this game? I've heard good things, but not sure if want to buy.
I absolutely adore it! It's really fun seeing how all the Mii's interact, which ones like each other and which ones get into fights. It has quite a comedic value to it. Plus, it's addicting to try and collect all the treasures and fill the catalogs. Alot of people are obsessed with getting streetpasses for it to. Lol, but it can get monotonous at times and there are moments in the day where there is nothing to do on it. I would say that it's worth the money, but if you're on the fence, you might to download the free demo from the eshop and try it out
