i think i heard that twitter was deleting photos from super old accounts? but i came across my old tomodachi life screenshots and got hit with a wave of nostalgia! i really hope we get a port of this game for the switch (please nintendo PLEEK) or maybe even a port to whatever the next console they're cooking up.... this was a great game to play even with online friends because i used to love making/importing miis of my friends and then throwing them into my game sweet memories... i used to love showing my friends what their miis were up to LOL

I didn't know we had a Tomodachi Life thread! It's one of my favorite games, so I'm pretty glad about that. (My current avatar is my lookalike in TL, aha.) I'm still playing the game, but definitely not as much as before. I've been contemplating if I should restart, but still haven't decided yet.

I want to restart because I've had my save file since 2021, and the game's gotten boring since I unlocked most of everything and nothing interesting happens. But on the other hand, I spent hundreds of hours and I don't wanna lose all my progress (especially Mii relationships and the songs I wrote).

Hoping if anyone can give any advice or opinions!

i was gonna say this thread totally made me think of you zelda! first thing i thought of was you and i figured for some reasons that you had posts in this thread

would you consider getting a second cartridge to create a second save file/game? i can't remember how it works since i haven't played in very long time. i kinda wish we were allowed to make multiple save files on one game cartridge too LOL i never deleted my old stuff and don't think i would because like you said, the progress and characters and songs all hold so many precious memories!

There’s just something hilarious and oddly wholesome about Tomodachi Life. Watching my Miis sing weird songs, start bizarre relationships, or argue over spaghetti never gets old. It’s like a soap opera run by chaos gremlins—and I’m here for every second of it.


It’s the perfect mix of randomness, charm, and “what did I just witness?” Anyone else still obsessed with this wonderfully weird game?

I haven’t played in a while, but I used to love this game! Sometimes I think about trying to get some more kids in the game to send off for Streetpass, that was one of my favorite features. Unfortunately, one of my shoulder buttons is broken so I can no longer speed through the boat process…
I’m looking forward to the new one next year!

I looove Tomodachi life and can't wait for the new one! I put just about everyone I knew in the original game and used to send my friends regular updates about the relationship drama they were involved in lol.

I'd have way more couples on my island if same gender couples were an option. I hope that they will be an option in the next game, even if it's something one can enable or disable.

I discovered that you can make the Miis swear if you spell the bad words out phonetically. I even wrote an entire song full of these swears. It’s sort of funny how Nintendo has had a list of inappropriate nicknames for Pokémon since BW and by the 3DS came out, the list included phonetically spelled swears but Tomodachi Life doesn’t.

Okay, if this isn't too hard to mod same gender couples into the game I might just start playing this game soon. Am I too late to start? I have it on my modded 3ds (downloaded) but I haven't started it up yet. It seems like a fun time either way without the modding, but I like the freedom...

Oh yeah there's loads of inappropriate songs like that that you can find on Youtube, lol.
