"Today's youths have been praised so much that some flail at their first taste of criticism or failure, experts say"

"Oh, well I lost so... I quit. I GUESS I HAVE TO START ALL OVER!"
Me: "So, why are you talking to it?"
"Because. I just am."
Me: "Okay then."

When he wins:

"Oh by the way __________, you got owneddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd"

I think this is for most of the Southern Schools *My city is bs when it comes to education* I was a straight A student at my old school, now I'm homeschooled by a northern school and I get A-,B+,C+ No more perfect A's. So yeah -ends mini kinda rant-.

Is this a reference to the recent outbreak with Silver? The way I see it is you think of Silverdragon as a kid (one who flails their arm when given criticism) and Fabio being the one to give him this criticism which by doing insulted Silver. Am I close? =/

products of the "No Child Left Behind Generation". these kids are obviously **not** perfectionists and are instead made to believe that they will get and accomplish everything with minimal effort. i can understand if she actually did the work, got an unreasonable grade, and felt then "insulted". but to let a classmate do it and then whine?

"Today's youths have been praised so much that some flail at their first taste of criticism or failure, experts say"

I wouldn't say I'm this, though I was probably treated that way.

I can take criticism, I hate myself, I don't whine and *censored.4.0* about stuff (usually :p), I didn't do *censored.2.0* to earn the crappy grades I got in high school, but I'm not a moron.

if you guys knew me I'd ask if I'm what's being described in the article, but sadly you don't Dx and saying I'm not doesn't really mean much. just gonna hope I don't find out I am this in a few years .-.
